What exactly is Clay Surface?

Clay Surface is a single-component surfacer with a high proportion of quartz and marble powder, which forms a dense, homogeneous surface structure thanks to finely tuned grading curves. The soft matte finish is visually and haptically exceptional. When combined with VELVET STONE®, it creates a characteristic mineral surface.

How should Clay Surface be cleaned?

Clay Surface is robust and easy to care for. A mild detergent solution and a soft cloth or sponge are suitable for regular cleaning. More detailed instructions and recommendations for cleaning can be found in the VALLONE® Care Guide.

Does the structure of my bathtub match the pictures on the website exactly?

CREE CLAY is finished by hand. The bathtub gets its unique mineral structure from the manual application of several layers that are coordinated with each other. This makes every CREE CLAY unique. The manufacturing process is always the same, but the manual application of Clay Surface can result in differences in color and texture.

Is a suitable drainage system and a siphon included in the scope of delivery?

A matching push-to-open drainage system with a lid in the same color as the clay surface, a bathtub siphon, and a flexible drain pipe are included with the bathtub. The siphon is also certified in accordance with DIN EN 274 for standard-compliant installation.

Is a recess in the floor required for the installation of the bathtub?

Yes, a partial recess in the floor beneath the bathtub must be planned for installation. This recess provides space for the siphon and the drain pipe. The exact dimensions of the recess and information on the layout can be found in the instructions and technical documentation for the bathtub.
