Cliff scenery and Mediterranean charm: With its steep alleys and incomparable architecture, the southern Italian town of Positano on the world-famous Almafi Coast presents itself in the best possible light – the colorful ensemble of houses built into the rocks in front of the emerald-blue coast is the ultimate symbol of Italy's “Grande Bellezza.” The design and manufacturing process of this eponymous mini-collection, which comprises the POSITANO freestanding bathtub and the POSITANO S countertop sink, takes its name and inspiration from the town. Gently sloping edges and soft contours give the bathtub and basin an elegant, timeless design that also provides for sufficient volume.
VELVET STONE® is an extremely easy-care material. For regular cleaning, use a commercial dishwashing detergent without dyes and a soft natural sponge. More detailed instructions and recommendations for cleaning can be found in the VALLONE® Care Guide.
For installation, plan a partial recess in the floor under the bathtub. This recess provides space for the siphon and drain pipe and serves as a safety mechanism. The exact dimensions of the recess and information on the layout can be found in the instructions for the respective bathtub.
A matching push-open drain system with a VELVET STONE® cover in the same color, a bathtub siphon, and a flexible drain pipe are included with the bathtub. The siphon is also certified to DIN EN 274 for code-compliant installation.
The POSITANO freestanding bathtub can best be complemented by the POSITANO S countertop sink. The combination of products from one collection allows for an integrated bathroom design.
